Book 20 Minutes

20 minutes, no pitch.

White label GEO is generative engine optimization done by a partner under your agency's name. The work shapes what a language model knows and says about a client's brand, from how the brand is named to which outside sources confirm it.

Clients have started to ask how AI models describe them, and why a competitor gets named instead. This page covers what the delivery involves, how it differs from AEO and SEO, what I hand you under your brand, and where the method runs out.

What white label GEO covers

A model does not rank a list of pages. It draws on what it absorbed in training and, in many products, on pages it fetches at the moment of the question, then writes an answer. If a brand is described inconsistently, or only ever by itself, the model has little to go on. It may get the brand wrong or skip it.

GEO closes those gaps from three sides: an accurate and consistent picture of the brand, backing for that picture from sources outside the client's site, and content a model can lift from without distorting it. It is slower and less direct than a ranking fix. Better you hear that from me now than from a client three months in.

For an agency, the practical effect is a new kind of client question. Owners ask why an assistant describes them with an old product line, or lists three rivals and not them. Those are entity and corroboration problems, and a ranking report will not answer them. This service exists to give you a documented answer you can show the client.

GEO compared with AEO and SEO

The cleanest way to separate them is the unit of work. SEO works on pages and queries, aiming at rankings and organic traffic. AEO works on individual answers and the pages cited inside them. GEO works on the brand as an entity: how it is named, described and corroborated across the web.

A page can rank, get cited in an answer, and the brand can still be described wrongly by a model that never met a reliable source about it. That gap is where GEO earns its place.

A client whose problem is visibility on particular questions usually needs white label AEO first. A ranking or traffic problem belongs with white label SEO. GEO fits when the question is about the brand itself.

What I deliver under your brand

Everything below arrives as client-ready work carrying your name. Scope changes by client, because a local business and a software company need different things.

  • Brand representation baseline. A fixed set of prompts run across the major models, recording how the brand is described today, who appears beside it, and what is wrong or missing.
  • Entity consistency. One agreed way of naming and describing the brand, its products and its people, applied across the client's site, profiles and structured data.
  • Corroboration map. The outside sources models seem to lean on for the client's category, and the places the client is absent.
  • Content for synthesis. Pages that make clear claims, define terms and compare options plainly.
  • Repeat monitoring. The prompt set re-run on a cycle, with changes reported as trends.

Where GEO falls short

Measurement is immature. Answers differ from run to run, between products, and after model updates. One output is a data point. I report direction over repeated runs and I will not hand you a single screenshot as proof.

I cannot control training data and I cannot promise a mention. Earning coverage on third-party sites, through digital PR or link building, sits outside the standard scope. The corroboration map shows where the gaps are, and closing them is a separate conversation with your client.

Some clients are not ready. When the basics of their site and search presence are broken, those get fixed first.

Expect uneven pace. Entity cleanup on the client's own site moves as fast as their approvals. Changes in outside sources move on other people's schedules. I flag early which parts of the plan depend on the client and which on third parties.

FAQ

What is white label GEO?

White label GEO is generative engine optimization delivered by a partner under an agency's own brand. It covers entity, content and third-party corroboration work that affects how language models describe a client. The agency owns the client relationship, the invoice and the reporting.

How is GEO different from AEO?

AEO aims to get a brand cited or recommended in specific answers to specific questions. GEO looks at the brand as an entity: how it is named, described and corroborated so models represent it accurately across many different responses, products and updates.

Can you guarantee my client will be mentioned by ChatGPT?

I cannot, and nobody can responsibly do so. Model answers vary between runs and products, and training data is outside my control. I can improve the conditions that make accurate mentions more likely, and report the trend honestly to you and your client.

Do you handle digital PR to build third-party coverage?

Not as part of the standard scope. I map where a client is missing from the sources models appear to use, so you can see the gaps. Earning coverage in those places, through digital PR or link building, is a separate conversation.
