White Label Local AEO for Agencies

Get your local and multi-location clients named when customers ask an AI tool who to call, with the work done by my in-house team under your brand.

See whether your local clients are missing from AI answers.

White label local AEO is answer engine work for local businesses: the plumber, the dental group, the franchise with forty sites. A customer types "who is a good emergency plumber near me" into ChatGPT or Gemini and gets a short written recommendation. The work is to make sure your client is in it, and described correctly. I do that under your brand, and your client only ever sees your name and your reports.

Local clients are where this question lands first, usually as "why does my competitor come up and I don't?" The cause often sits in the business data around the client as much as on the client's own site. The classic map pack and listings work is covered on the white label local SEO page. This page covers what changes when the destination is an AI answer.

Where local AI answers get their information

An assistant recommending a local business has to confirm that the business exists, what it does, where it works and whether customers vouch for it. It pulls that from several places, and the mix differs by engine and shifts over time. Google's AI features sit beside Google Business Profile data. Other assistants lean on web pages, directory listings and review text.

Because the mix differs, I do not apply one checklist to every client. I ask each engine the questions a customer would ask, read what comes back, and work on the sources that the answers appear to depend on. Results vary from run to run, and I tell clients that up front.

The local signals I fix first

Some inconsistencies cost a client more than any content tweak. This is the order I usually work in:

  • Google Business Profile. Primary and secondary categories, service areas, services, hours and the description. For many small businesses this is the clearest statement of what they do.
  • Citations and NAP. Name, address and phone number must match across directories, the website and social profiles. A conflict gives an engine a reason to skip the business or describe it wrongly.
  • Reviews. Volume, recency and wording. A review that names a service and a neighborhood hands an engine concrete language to quote.
  • Location and service pages. Each should open with a direct answer to the question a customer asks, backed by LocalBusiness markup that matches the profile.
  • Duplicate and closed listings. An engine that finds an old address may cite it.

What local AEO adds to local SEO

Local SEO aims at the map pack and local organic results. Local AEO aims at a sentence in a written answer, which may name one business, a short list, or nobody. A client can sit in the top three of the map pack and be missing from the AI answer for the same search.

Both rest on the same base: clean listings, a maintained profile, real reviews. The extra work is the testing, finding where a client is missing or misdescribed, and fixing the specific source behind it. If a client's local SEO base is weak, I say so and repair that first, because AEO built on inconsistent data does not hold.

What white label local AEO includes

For each client I run a local AI visibility review, make the fixes it points to and keep monitoring the same prompts afterward. Everything is formatted for you to hand on. Delivery runs through my in-house team, the same model as the rest of white label AEO work. If a client needs a standalone assessment before committing, the AEO audit is the entry point.

Multi-location brands

A wrong phone number is a small fix for one shop and a systemic problem across forty profiles. For multi-location clients I set one source of truth for every location's details, then check that profiles, citations and location pages all agree with it.

This is repetitive, detail-heavy work that decays when it changes hands each month, so I keep it with a consistent team.

What's Included

Local AI visibility review

Customer-style prompts about the client's category and area, run across the major answer engines, with who is named and what is said recorded.

Categories, services and descriptions set to state clearly what the business does and where, then maintained.

Citation and NAP cleanup

Inconsistent, duplicate or outdated listings found and corrected so every source agrees.

Review responses and collection process

Replies to reviews, plus a simple process that helps the client collect more genuine ones.

Answer-ready location pages

Edits that lead each page with a direct answer and add matching local markup.

Monitoring and client-ready reporting

Repeat checks of the same prompts, summarized in plain language you can send on.

FAQ

What is white label local AEO?

White label local AEO is local answer engine optimization delivered under your agency's brand. It aims to get a local business named in answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, using Google Business Profile, citations, reviews and on-page answers. Your client sees your branding and reporting only.

Can you guarantee my client will be recommended by ChatGPT?

No agency can. AI answers change by engine, by phrasing and from one run to the next. What I can do is show where a client is missing or misdescribed, fix the sources behind it, and track the same prompts over time so you can report direction without overstating it.

Do I still need local SEO if I add local AEO?

Yes. Both depend on accurate listings, a maintained profile and real reviews. Local SEO targets map pack and organic rankings, while local AEO targets mentions inside answers. When a client's SEO base is weak, that gets fixed first, and I will tell you if it applies.

Which clients are the best fit for local AEO?

Service businesses where customers ask for recommendations, such as home services, healthcare, legal and hospitality, plus multi-location brands that need consistent details everywhere. Clients with messy listings or thin reviews often have the most to gain from the first review. I will say plainly if a client is not ready.
