White Label GEO Agency Partnership
How to tell genuine generative engine work from relabeled SEO, and how a GEO partnership is set up when it runs under your agency's name.
Book 20 Minutes20 minutes, no pitch.
A white label GEO agency handles generative engine optimization for your clients under your brand. The aim is for language models to describe a client accurately and name it where it belongs. The label is new enough that many providers have simply renamed their SEO packages.
This page helps agency owners evaluate a GEO partner. It covers how to spot real GEO work, when a client should buy it, how a partnership is built, and what a good provider declines. For the service itself, see white label GEO.
Telling a white label GEO agency from relabeled SEO
Real GEO work targets the brand as an entity, not only pages and queries. When the deliverables are the same ranking reports and backlink lists under a new name, the label is the only thing that changed.
Look for four signs. The provider talks about entities: how the brand, its products and its people are named across the web. It talks about corroboration, meaning which outside sources models seem to rely on for the category. It can explain how GEO differs from AEO, which targets citations in specific answers. And it admits that answers vary and that training data is out of its hands.
Ask for a sample deliverable. A baseline of prompts with recorded answers, or a list of corroborating sources by category, is GEO work. A crawl report with a new cover is not.
When a client should buy GEO
Buy it when the problem is how the client is described, not just whether a page is cited. A model might describe the business inaccurately, confuse it with another company, or name its competitors and never name it.
A client worried about visibility on specific questions is usually better served by white label AEO, and a ranking or traffic worry belongs with white label SEO. I would sooner point you to the right engine than sell the newest label.
GEO builds on a site that is crawlable, consistent and clearly written. On a broken foundation it wastes budget.
A quick test: run a handful of category questions through two or three assistants and read what they say about the client. If the answers are wrong, outdated or empty, you have a GEO conversation. If they are accurate but the client is simply not cited, that leans toward AEO.
How the partnership is built
The structure is a representation baseline followed by a slow improvement cycle, with you owning the client relationship. GEO changes take time to show, so the arrangement has to be set up for patience and honest reporting.
I start by recording how the client is described today across the main models, then agree scope and cadence. The work covers entity consistency, content that models can use accurately, and a map of corroboration gaps. The same prompt set is re-run on a regular cycle so change appears as a trend.
My in-house team delivers, and I manage it directly. One client is a reasonable start, and a long-term contract is not required to try it.
Reports come built from repeated runs of a fixed prompt set, carry your brand and are written for a client who has never heard the word entity. When there is nothing meaningful to report yet, you will hear that from me. A chart implying progress would be worse.
Tactics a GEO agency should decline
A good partner will not manipulate the sources models learn from. Some shortcuts in this young field can damage a client's credibility:
- Guaranteeing a mention or a favorable description from any model.
- Planting fake reviews, fabricated mentions or low-quality content across the web.
- Describing a client in ways that are not true.
- Contacting your clients directly.

FAQ
What is a white label GEO agency?
A white label GEO agency does generative engine optimization for another agency's clients under that agency's own brand. The work shapes how language models describe and mention a client, and the agency keeps the client relationship, the invoice and the reporting.
How do I know a GEO agency is not just selling SEO?
Check whether its deliverables include entity consistency and a map of third-party corroboration, and whether it can explain how GEO differs from AEO and SEO. When the deliverables are unchanged ranking and link reports under a new name, the label is the only thing that is new.
How long does GEO take to show results?
It is slower and less predictable than a ranking fix, and I do not give a fixed timeline. Model answers vary and depend on updates outside anyone's control, so progress is judged as a trend across repeated runs of the same prompt set, not by any single result.
Can a white label GEO agency guarantee mentions in AI answers?
Nobody controls training data or how a model answers, and answers differ between runs. A trustworthy partner commits to defined work and honest tracking, and tells you plainly that a guaranteed mention is not something anyone can responsibly promise to a client.
